Bad news today for Minnesota Vikings fans and potentially for fantasy football owners as profootballtalk.com reported today that star running back Adrian Peterson was arrested in Houston, Texas last night for reportedly resisting arrest.
At this point it is unclear why he was involved with the police at all or had a reason to resist.
This is not the kind of news that fans of the Vikings wanted to hear about their Pro Bowl running back, who is trying to battle back from a very serious knee injury in order to start the season in the starting lineup.
Although there are few details available at this time one thing is clear: running away from police and resisting arrest is not a great way to rehab a serious injury.
